Four Funny Stories With Hilarious Twists

John and Jessica were driving home after a night out when a police officer pulled them over for a burned-out tail light. John apologized, saying he hadn’t noticed it, but Jessica quickly reminded the officer she had warned him about it days earlier. When the officer discovered John’s driver’s license had expired, Jessica chimed in again, saying she had already told him to renew it. Frustrated, John snapped, “Jessica, be quiet!” The officer asked if he always spoke to her like that. Jessica smiled and replied, “Only when he’s drunk.”

A police officer stopped a minivan full of elderly passengers because it was crawling along at just 25 mph. The elderly driver proudly explained that he was obeying the sign marked “25.” The officer laughed and explained that it was the highway number, not the speed limit. Then he noticed all the elderly women looked pale and terrified. The driver shrugged and said, “We just got off Highway 150.”

Another woman was pulled over for speeding while driving with her husband. The officer politely explained that he had to ticket anyone going over 55. Outraged, the woman accused him of discrimination because of her age. Smiling, the officer calmly clarified, “Ma’am, I meant the speed limit, not your age.”

Bob admired how lovingly his friend Joe treated his wife, so he decided to do the same. He rushed home, hugged his wife, complimented her, and told her how much he loved her. Instead of smiling, she burst into tears. When Bob asked why, she sobbed, “It’s been a terrible day—our son broke his ankle, the washing machine stopped working, and now you’ve come home drunk too!
