While flying to Los Angeles for a business trip on Southwest Airlines, I boarded early and chose an emergency exit row with two seats. Just before boarding finished, an attractive woman asked if she could sit beside me. She appeared to be traveling alone, wasn’t wearing a wedding ring, and immediately struck up a friendly conversation.
