When I got home, I noticed a strange message written on the back: **“Check your car trunk.”** Nervously, I went outside and found a small black backpack hidden among my groceries. I immediately called the police, who discovered stolen jewelry and IDs inside. They explained that a theft ring had been hiding stolen goods in unsuspecting shoppers’ cars. Thanks to the woman’s quick thinking and warning, the police were able to track down the criminals and return the stolen items. I never saw her again, but I’ve been much more careful ever since.
