Late one night, a faint noise near the window unsettled me, so I called the police for help.The dispatcher shocked me by saying I had already called, and someone had just used my number to report the exact same noise.
Officers arrived to investigate, but by morning there was no sign of anything unusual, leaving the strange call unexplained.The experience stayed with me as a haunting reminder that sometimes our instincts seem to sense something before we consciously understand it.
