Amarillo was found abandoned inside an apartment in Syracuse, New York, with her entire coat dyed bright yellow and signs of severe neglect, including dehydration and overgrown nails. Rescuers from Friends Forever Animal Rescue spent days caring for her, giving her 16 baths before most of her natural coat color returned. Despite everything she had endured, Amarillo remained affectionate and playful, and she now enjoys walks and gets along with children, dogs, and cats.
