Gregory Allen Madeya, a Pennsylvania priest, is accused of secretly diverting about $750,000 from church collections, rent and donations, while allegedly taking nearly $250,000 from his elderly mother’s investment accounts, leaving her unable to pay nursing-home bills. Investigators also say he tried to sell a church gold chalice valued at $19,440 and used some of the money to buy a 2018 Ford Mustang.
