The Reunion She Deserved..

When my wife wanted to attend her high school reunion, I told her, “You’ll embarrass yourself. You’re just a stay-at-home mom now.” Hurt by my words, she decided not to go and barely spoke to me for days. Two weeks later, a heavy box arrived for her. Inside was a framed photo of her entire graduating class, signed by everyone, along with a note that said, “We missed you! Maria told us what happened. Being a mom IS something to be proud of. You’re raising three kids—that’s harder than any of our jobs. Please come to the next one.” Reading it, I realized how badly I had underestimated the woman who had devoted herself to raising our family.
