What is this hole on the Refrigerator?

That small foam-filled hole on your refrigerator is usually a factory injection port, where insulating foam was pumped into the walls during manufacturing.
The foam expands and hardens inside the cavity, helping keep cold air in and warm air out.
The hole is completely normal, and any tape covering it helps protect the insulation from moisture.
There’s no need to worry or remove the plug; if the covering is damaged, check your manufacturer’s advice before resealing it.
