A Woman’s Fishing Trip Took a Wild Turn When a Giant Turtle Emerged From the Mississippi River! During a family vacation in November 2022, Shala Holm was fishing with her daughter when an enormous snapping turtle suddenly surfaced beside their kayak, reaching toward their basket of fish.
