Hollywood is mourning actor Tom Skerritt, who reportedly died at age 93 from natural causes on October 21, 2026. With a career spanning more than six decades and over 170 film and television credits, he was best known for MASH, Alien, Top Gun, A River Runs Through It and the award-winning series Picket Fences, for which he won an Emmy in 1993. Born in Detroit in 1933, Skerritt also supported aspiring filmmakers, military veterans and environmental causes. He is survived by his wife, Julie Tokashiki, five children and grandchildren, while former co-stars Lauren Holly, Julia Roberts and Cathy Baker remembered him for his talent, kindness and warmth…
