After moving into a new home, a family was threatened by a neighbor who insisted they could park only one car on the street, despite no such rule existing.
Three days later, two tow trucks arrived to remove their legally parked vehicles while the neighbor watched smugly.
But both cars had special government permit tags, making an illegal tow potentially subject to fines of up to $25,000.
The tow operators quickly unhooked the cars and left, while the embarrassed neighbor learned that arrogance can backfire.
